Who Am I ?

My name is Alain Mitildjan, I am 35 years old, and I currently live in Toulouse, the birthplace of French aeronautics.
Originally from Normandy, I grew up around aviation, as my father was a professional pilot on single- and twin-engine aircraft between 1992 and 2000. Wanting to become a pilot myself, I attempted several paths (French Air Force, Air France Cadets), but without success.

I later moved to Toulouse in 2010 to continue my professional journey in aeronautics. I completed a BTS in Aeronautics, followed by a Professional Bachelor's Degree in TIAS (Techniques in Aeronautical and Space Industries), as well as a three-year evening program at the CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts), specializing in aeronautical mechanics, with the goal of becoming an aeronautical engineer.

Today, I work as a Customer Acceptance Manager—serving as a link between airline customers and Airbus teams—on the A330 and A350 final assembly lines in Toulouse. I enjoy this job as it allows me to deepen my technical knowledge of the A330 and A350, while also expanding my professional network.

BIOGRAPHY

As for my artistic interests, I have always loved drawing—especially airplanes and cars. My first drawing was a space shuttle when I was four years old. What fascinates me in drawing is bringing life to a blank sheet of paper by adding color, shapes, and depth. Thanks to my drawings and a growing presence on Instagram, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with pilots from the French Air Force and Naval Aviation, and to create artworks for their squadrons. These connections have granted me privileged access to unique places—made possible through my skills as an artist.
